I live in an often-rough world of trial work, and I try and bring principles to life for the people I serve. It’s complex, intense, challenging and meaningful. And this is what works for me.

It has helped us grow and serve clients with a lot of up-to-date communication tools, and we have fun doing it—more about that later.
 
Sandy Wade

Sandy Wade of Pacific Crescent QuiltingSandy Wade had a 25-year career in high technology before abandoning computers for quilting. For the past 14 years, she has owned , on Spokane’s North Side. In addition, Wade currently serves as the chairwoman of the board of directors for the Spokane Public Facilities District, which operates the Spokane Convention Center and the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. She also is active in the Spokane Valley Sunrise Rotary Club.

 
Jeff Severs of GSI

Jeff Severs of GSIJeff Severs is the chief operating officer of Greater Spokane Incorporated, a business and economic development organization in the Inland Northwest. Prior to his current role, Severs was president and CEO of SprayCool, a technology company headquartered in Liberty Lake. He joined SprayCool after a distinguished career with the U.S. Air Force, from which he retired as a colonel. He has a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in logistics management from the Air Force Institute of Technology.

 
P. Mike Taylor
P. Mike Taylor is a partner and founder of Taylor Engineering Inc., a 56-employee civil engineering, surveying and landscape-architecture firm. The company has offices in Spokane, Pullman and Coeur d’Alene. After serving eight years in the Army Corps of Engineers, including in Vietnam, he became an owner in 10 businesses ranging from a family farm corporation to business coaching.
 
Cody George

Cody George, co-owner of Vintage Hill Cellars (www.vintagehillcellars.com) and Georgetown Properties (a real estate investment, development and rental firm), went from basement vintner to commercial winemaker. A 20-Under-40 alum who has an undergraduate degree from Washington State University and an MBA from the University of Washington, George is a former economic development adviser for the City of Spokane.

 
Otto Klein
OTTO KLEIN, PART OWNER OF THE SPOKANE INDIANS BASEBALL CLUB, has worked for 17 years in the sports-marketing field. He has been with the Indians since 1993 and currently serves as the senior vice president, overseeing the sponsorship, promotion and public relations aspects of the team. Under his guidance, the Indians have won the Northwest League’s award for promotional excellence 13 of the past 15 years while selling out of sponsorship inventory for a record four straight years.
