They have for a long time. Their combined experience spans a great deal more than a half a century! In grocery store speak: it’s going from the days of handstamping prices on every single item to a three-second scan that not only tracks price, but inventory and items sold.
 
Go Green Electric Debuts in Post Falls
“I’ve been in the car business for 25 years and didn’t feel like the focus from major manufacturers was on fuel economy and alternative energy sources. They’re more interested in putting in DVD players, heated seats and heated cup holders than developing new technologies that provide better fuel standards. I knew there were other options out there,” says Kent Votaw, co-owner of Go Green Electric LLC, an electric car and scooter dealership that opened in November 2007 in Post Falls, Idaho.
 
Innovation in Eastern Washington
Eleven areas were recently designated by Governor Chris Gregoire as Innovation Partnership Zones, including Spokane’s University District, to promote and develop the state’s regional economies. The goal is to grow the state’s intellectual capital and promote industry clusters by bringing together research and higher education opportunities, innovation and economic activity.
