THE ORIGINAL iPhone changed the way people use mobile phones. Now Apple is trying to create that magic again with the iPhone® 4. This new iPhone sports a fresh design that crams real glass and stainless steel into the thinnest smartphone on the market.

The iPhone 4 has four times the number of pixels in its display than other smartphones, a feature that Apple calls the “Retina Display” which brings unprecedented visuals to the iPhone 4. Other new features include front and back facing HD cameras and the new iOS 4 system. But the most notable new feature is Face Talk. Using the phone’s cameras, Face Talk turns the iPhone 4 into the world’s first video conferencing mobile phone.

You can get the iPhone 4 for $199 (16GB) or $299 (32GB) on a two-year contract with AT&T. But because of the incredible specs and HD content available on the iPhone 4, the discontinuation of AT&Ts unlimited data plans may be of more concern to a potential buyer. While the iPhone 4 outpaces what AT&T’s network can currently provide, there’s no doubt this new phone will keep Apple on top in the smartphone market.

web developers note: please caution as currently the iPhone 4 is being plagued by antenna reception issues, and doesn't appear to have an immediate long term solution as of this posting (7/14/10).
